WASHINGTON (April 16, 2012) - Michael Harrington was promoted from chief legislative counsel to executive director of legislative affairs for the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA). In his new role, Harrington is responsible for managing NADA's legislative staff and implementing the association's legislative agenda.

“I'm excited to represent new-car dealers in this new capacity and look forward to continuing to work closely with the NADA directors, dealers and the Automotive Trade Association Executives,” Harrington said.

A native of Cranford, N.J., and a graduate of Rutgers College and law graduate of Catholic University of America, Harrington resides in Bethesda, Md., with his wife Alexandra, and children Grace, 9, and Luke, 7.
