McLEAN, Va. (Aug. 15, 2012) - The American Truck Dealers (ATD) announced today that Troy A. Clarke, president and chief operating officer for Navistar, Inc., will provide keynote remarks at the 2013 ATD Convention and Expo in Orlando, Fla., next February.

The full lineup of keynote speakers for the 50th annual ATD convention, which will be held February 8-11 at the Orange County Convention Center, includes Clarke; Bob Costello, chief economist and vice president of the American Trucking Associations; Dennis Snow, a former Walt Disney World consultant, who now trains executives how to improve customer service, develop employees and establish leadership goals; and ATD Chairman Richard Witcher.

The ATD convention will once again run concurrently with the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention and Expo in Orlando.

Medium- and heavy-duty truck dealers who attend the ATD convention will have the opportunity to attend various workshop sessions, attend franchise meetings and meet with exhibitors. ATD attendees can also attend any of the NADA workshops and speaker sessions.

Clarke was named president in July 2012, and handles all Navistar operations in North America and globally. Prior to being named president, Clarke served as president of Navistar Asia Pacific, where he was responsible for leading the company's global growth initiatives. He joined Navistar in December 2010, after a distinguished 35-year career at General Motors. Clarke most recently served as president of GM North America and GM group vice president. Preceding that role, he spent two years as the president of GM Asia Pacific and GM group vice president. He joined GM in 1973 as a co-op student at Pontiac Motor Division.

ATD attendees are encouraged to register early to take advantage of early-bird rates (a $150 savings from the onsite registration rate) and to book the hotel of choice.
