American Truck Dealers (ATD), a division of NADA, represents medium- and heavy-duty-truck dealers. ATD members share in NADA’s programs, services and benefits.

NADA Show / ATD Show, formerly Conventions & Expositions, are the largest and most prestigious automotive industry events of the year and they attract tens of thousands of attendees. The NADA Show and ATD Show expos feature hundreds of exhibitors offering cutting-edge products and services. The Shows feature prominent keynote speakers, educational workshops, dealer/manufacturer franchise meetings, and more.

Industry Analysis produces monthly, quarterly and annual economic reports and analysis, including NADA Data, NADA Market Beat, ATD Truck Beat, Dealership Financial Profiles, and more.

Industry Relations addresses major issues affecting dealer/manufacturer relations. Industry Relations promotes communication between manufacturers and member dealers via franchise-specific meetings and NADA’s exclusive biannual dealer attitude survey.

International Affairs – NADA has a special membership category for International Dealer Affiliates and represents dealers from all over the world. Affiliates are kept informed on trends in the U.S. retail automotive market, are eligible for NADA member programs and services, and will save money on NADA meeting registration fees, publications and consulting services.

Legal Affairs represents the interest of dealers in the legal, federal regulatory and franchise arenas. This involves the monitoring and analysis of federal administrative activities, the formation of NADA policies on these matters and the preparation of guides and bulletins to assist dealers in complying with federal requirements. The group analyzes dealer franchise agreements and manufacturer policies, maintains a state franchise law reporting program and assists ATAEs and dealers on franchise and state law matters.

Legislative Affairs represents new car and truck dealer interests before the U.S. Congress, including a wide range of business, trade, energy and environmental issues that could impact the success of their businesses.

NADA Education provides dealership personnel with online training and educational solutions to improve operations and profitability and maintain legal and regulatory compliance. 

NADA Foundation helps dealership employees whose lives have been devastated by natural disasters and distributes dealer-donated funds to worthy charitable endeavors.

NADA Insurance provides an array of insurance products to cover business owners, their employees and their families.

NADA/ATD Membership is based on rooftop location and is open to dealerships holding a new automobile or truck sales and service franchise in the United States and its Territories.

NADA PAC is NADA’s political action committee (PAC), formerly known as the Dealers Election Action Committee (DEAC). It helps dealers contribute to the political election campaigns of pro-business, pro-dealer candidates for election or re-election to the U.S. Congress

Public Affairs is responsible for media and public relations, marketing and communications, both print and online. Public Affairs publishes a number of newsletters, electronic publications and websites, as well as NADA video reports.

Regulatory Affairs protects and promotes franchised car and truck dealership interests before the federal administrative agencies and the judiciary, while also formulating NADA's policy positions on important issues.

Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits (formerly NADART), now operated by Empower Retirement, provides comprehensive retirement plan administration and investment services designed to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes.
