Education sessions and workshops at NADA Show are the highest quality educational programs in the automotive industry. Overwhelmingly, our attendees want to know about the latest topics and trends affecting dealers and how they can use these insights to create success for their own dealerships. One of our most popular session formats is the Super Session, a network-oriented presentation between workshop speakers and attendees. Only one of these sessions is held each year.
This year's topic is one that is on everyone's radar—digital marketing for dealers and how to use it effectively in your business.
Disrupting Your Market with Google, Facebook and Twitter
Thursday January 24, 2019, 12:15pm - 2:00pm
Learn from the experts how to disrupt your dealership's local market. This panel will leverage the experience and insight of the auto leaders from the most dominant digital companies around, including Google, Facebook, Twitter and UnityWorks Media. The discussion will focus on how to leverage these digital giants to disrupt your market with a digital focus and include insights on this ever-changing space. The session's panelists represent today's leading marketing powerhouses:
Gregory Garber, Client Solutions Manager, Twitter
Peter Leto, Head of Industry - Automotive Retail Sales, Google
Jessica Roberts, Head of Retail Automotive, Facebook
Phil Sura, VP of Sales, UnityWorks Media
Greg Garber, client solutions manager for Twitter, notes, "Your most valuable audiences are on Twitter when they are most receptive." This Super Session will help dealers and marketing managers learn about what he says is "Twitter's unique ability to connect you with consumers who are in the market for vehicles and vehicle maintenance, in the moment."
Often, the idea of using Google, Facebook or Twitter sounds good, but, for many dealers, the problem is that they don't quite understand how these platforms can directly help their respective businesses.
“If you've ever thought, 'YouTube is for millennials, not my customers,' or 'TV is better at getting my message out,' or 'I don't see how video actually drives foot traffic into my stores,' then this session is for you,” says Peter Leto, head of industry - automotive retail sales at Google.
Although these platforms are worldwide, they can have a huge local impact as well. Jessica Roberts, head of retail automotive for Facebook, notes that this Super Session will help dealers and managers “learn how to activate offline and online customer data to sell cars and fill your service bay.”
