Join the National Automobile Dealers Association for a networking and education event to spark the entry of women executives and professionals in the automotive industry. As part of NADA Show 2020 and sponsored by Ally, you'll get to share ideas and learn from the leaders that are creating opportunities, driving business and changing the future of automotive.

Empowering women in the auto industry means working together, so please note that men are welcome to attend as well, to share, collaborate in and support this important initiative.

Women Driving Auto Retail Brunch
Sunday, February 16, Noon-2:30pm
Encore Las Vegas

This year's event will include two discussions of timely and important topics affecting the automotive industry and women dealers today:

Creating a Dealership Culture Inclusive of Women

This panel discussion will feature insights from leaders paving the way for more women to join the automotive retail industry. Sherry Schultz, chief human resource officer for Walser Automotive Group Chief in Minneapolis, Minn.; Evelyn Chatel, general manager at Bean Auto Group in Miami, Fla.; and Matt Laughridge, owner and managing partner at Terry Reid Auto Group in Cartersville, Ga., will share how they have each made strides in hiring and retaining women in their respective dealerships. They’ll also share best practices and tools to help dealerships across the country do the same. The session will be moderated by NADA board member Annette DiLorenzo Thayer, dealer and owner of Quality Mazda in Albuquerque, N.M.

Gender Bias – Why Should Dealers Care?

Women are decision-makers and influencers when it comes to big-ticket purchases like cars, but they often aren’t accurately portrayed in the advertising they see. Mindy McAlindon of the Association of National Advertisers, the largest marketing and advertising association in the U.S., will share insights and case studies that show how representing women accurately in advertising can impact your bottom line.

Note this is a separate, ticketed event and is not included with your NADA Show 2020 registration. The cost of attending is $75 for dealers and dealership employees / $125 for expo vendors.
