McCarthy Memorial Program

McCarthy Memorial Program

A dog may be a man’s best friend, but for wounded veterans and children suffering with disabilities, a highly trained service dog can mean having support, security and a measure of independence.

The NADA Foundation’s Frank E. McCarthy Memorial Program benefits Canine Companions, a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.

Saving Lives: Canine Companions

Grants to Canine Companions are made through the NADA Foundation’s Frank E. McCarthy Memorial Program. (McCarthy was NADA chief executive from 1968 to 2001.)
