Former GM Executive Hulgrave Named Executive Director of NADA Industry Affairs

McLEAN, Va. (April 12, 2007)-The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) has named Bert Hulgrave executive director of industry affairs.


Hulgrave comes to NADA after a 29-year career at General Motors Corp., where he served in a number of executive positions. Most recently, he was GM's director of global retail business process, overseeing the development of retail and wholesale standards and processes.


Prior to that, Hulgrave served as GM's director of industry and dealer affairs. In that role, he was primarily responsible for improving overall dealer relations and leading the automaker's activities and communications with NADA and GM's Dealer Council.


“We are very pleased that Bert is joining our staff, and look forward to the valuable industry insight he brings from his experience at GM,” said NADA President Phil Brady.


Hulgrave will report to NADA Industry Affairs Group Vice President Michael Regan, and will oversee the operations of the association's industry analysis and industry relations efforts. He will focus on activities related to enhancing dealer-manufacturer relations and communications.
