For John Mitchell Jr., the automotive business has always been about people. His parents, sisters and brothers-in-law all have roles at Mitchell Automotive Group in Enterprise, Ala. He also maintains a strong focus on taking care of both customers and employees, just like Mitchell’s father set out to do when he founded the company.

Mitchell is currently President of Mitchell Automotive, which has grown to four dealerships serving Enterprise and Dothan. He also serves as chairman of NADA’s Public Affairs Committee. 
In this NADA member profile, Mitchell explains how the foundational values established by his father continue to guide the company.  

“When my dad started this business, his number one goal was to make sure we took care of our employees, because if we took care of our employees, we knew our employees would take care of our customers,” Mitchell says.
