John T. Emerson is president of Emerson Chevrolet in Auburn, Maine. He started in the retail auto business in 1970, washing cars for his father at Louis Chevrolet in Lewiston, Maine, and began selling cars full time after graduating from Northwood University. Emerson serves as Chairman of NADA's Legislative Affairs Committee, and represents Maine's franchised new-car dealers on the board of directors of the National Automobile Dealers Association. (Term: January 2014-January 2029)
