NADA Foundation
About the Foundation
The NADA Foundation, founded in 1975, is the retail auto industry's philanthropic arm. The Foundation:
-
Promotes workforce development in franchised new-car and -truck dealerships;
-
Provides emergency relief to dealership employees;
-
Supports military veterans, and more.
Emergency Relief Fund
As another natural disaster unfolds, we're reminded that auto dealers are good neighbors.
Thanks to the generous support of dealers and our industry partners, the NADA Foundation's Emergency Relief Fund (ERF) provides financial assistance to dealership employees affected by natural disasters.
These employees receive funds to help them get back to their day-to-day lives before insurance money arrives, and sometimes before ATMs are up and running. Often, they use ERF grants to buy food, diapers and clothes to return to school or work — basic items some may take for granted.

McCarthy Memorial Program
Trained Service Dogs
A dog may be a man’s best friend, but for wounded veterans and children suffering with disabilities, a highly trained service dog can mean having support, security and a measure of independence. The NADA Foundation’s Frank E. McCarthy Memorial Program benefits Canine Companions, a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.
