American Cancer Society Road To Recovery® Program
To help cancer patients access the vital care they need, the NADA Foundation is committing $3 million over the next three years to support the American Cancer Society Road To Recovery® program. The program eases patients' burdens by giving free rides to cancer-related medical appointments.
Three Ways to Participate
1. Provide Drivers
There is a critical need for volunteer drivers, as requests for rides often exceed the number of drivers available, which means some patients risk missing or delaying their care simply because they lack reliable transportation.
By becoming a Road To Recovery volunteer driver, you’ll:
- Support people facing cancer in the your community and beyond.
- Provide comfort, encouragement, and companionship during a difficult time.
- Make a meaningful impact — even just an hour of your day can change someone's life.
2. Champion the Cause
While drivers are the biggest need, there are many other ways your dealership can support the program's mission. Go further for patients in your community and become a Road To Recovery Champion. Some make the program part of their dealership’s commitment to the community. However you are able to participate, your dealership can lead the way.
3. Donate Funds
Your monetary gift means we can continue to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families. Together, we can work to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer. Thank you for your support.
