Whether you're preparing to take on greater responsibility or looking to strengthen your leadership skills, the ATD Emerging Leaders program is designed to help you grow alongside other rising leaders in the commercial truck industry. 

Kick off your ATD Show experience with a networking breakfast designed to set you up for success. Leadership and communication expert Lizzie Docel will share practical strategies to help you communicate with confidence, build meaningful connections and make every interaction count. 

Then, put those skills to work. You'll be challenged to apply what you've learned throughout ATD Show as you meet peers, engage with industry leaders and expand your professional network.

Unscripted Presence for Leaders

How you show up is just as important as what you say. In today's fast-paced business environment, leaders are expected to communicate with confidence in meetings, presentations and everyday conversations. This interactive session introduces a practical framework for strengthening your preparation and mindset, so you can communicate more naturally and effectively in high-pressure situations. 

Discover strategies to:

  • Build executive presence and confidence. 
  • Manage speaking nerves. 
  • Read the room and connect with your audience. 
  • Communicate with authenticity in formal presentations and informal conversations.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to practice introducing themselves and receive live coaching from Lizzie. 

About Lizzie Docel 
Lizzie Docel is founder of Unscripted Speech, a TEDx speaker and an executive communication coach who helps professionals become more confident, authentic communicators. Drawing from her experience in acting, improvisation, speech therapy, marketing and sales enablement at Google, she has coached executives, sales leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals across a wide range of industries to strengthen their leadership presence and communication skills.
