Orlando Labor & Services

To assist you in planning for your participation in the Orlando show, we are certain you will appreciate knowing in advance that union labor may be required for certain aspects of your exhibit handling. To help you understand the jurisdiction the various unions have, we ask you to read the following:

Labor Source

Freeman is the Official Services Contractor for NADA Show 2027. As the Official Services Contractor, Freeman has the responsibility for material handling and booth cleaning services.

To help you understand the Official Services Contractor responsibilities, we ask that you read and observe the following to aid in a smooth and efficient move-in and move-out of the show.

Material Handling

Exhibitors may:

  • As an exhibitor you may “hand carry” material. Hand carry is defined as small items such as cartons and packages that an exhibitor is able to carry.
  • The use or rental of dollies, flat trucks and other mechanical equipment, however, is not permitted.
  • When exhibitors choose to “hand carry” they may not access designated material handling areas.
  • Must use specified exhibitor hand carry areas or main entrance of the facility.
  • In all other circumstances items should be considered material handling.

 

Booth Installation & Dismantle

Exhibitors may:

  • As an Exhibitor you may choose to utilize your own full time employees to set up and dismantle your exhibit. Any labor services that may be required beyond what your regular full time employees can provide, may be rendered by the Union.
  • If full-time company personnel are utilized to set an exhibit, they should carry positive company identification, such as a medical identification card or payroll stub.
  • You may hire Freeman to act as your Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) to perform this work.  
  • You may hire an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) to perform this work.  
  • All EAC’s must have the appropriate credentials submitted to Show Management and the facility.

Booth Cleaning & Porter Service

Exhibitors may:

  • Clean and wipe down products and display merchandise and other parts of the exhibit.
  • Exhibitor Appointed Contractors (EAC’s) are not permitted to vacuum or utilize floor cleaning equipment on the show floor.

Rates

Material Handling includes unloading your exhibit material, storing up to 30 days in advance at the warehouse address, delivering to the booth, the handling of empty containers to and from storage, and removing of material from the booth for reloading onto outbound carriers. You have two options for shipping your advance freight - either to the warehouse or directly to show site.
