Cheryl Bedford is president of Sunset Auto Center, Inc. in Lompoc, Calif. She started in the automotive business in 1958, working part-time in high school as a service cashier/operator in Fontana, Calif. She became a franchised dealer in 1983 and has held multiple positions, including A/R, A/P, F&I Manager, Leasing Manager, Salesperson, Sales Manager and Dealer. Bedford is an at-large member of the National Automobile Dealers Association's board of directors, representing women dealers from the West Region. (Term: February 2024-February 2027)
