GENERAL
What is NADA University Online?
NADA University Online provides NADA/ATD member dealerships and their employees with 24/7 access to a variety of complimentary member resources and premium training solutions designed to improve dealership operations and profitability as well as compliance with laws and regulations.

How can I sign up?
Visit www.nada.org/onlinelearning and click on the Login button on the top right of the screen. Click on “Create a New Account.”

Where do I sign in?
You can sign in at www.nada.org/onlinelearning. Click on the Login button on the top right hand corner of the page.

What is the difference between complimentary Member Benefits and a Premium Subscription?
Complimentary member benefits are available at no charge to all active NADA/ATD members; content includes On-demand webinars, Driven Management Guides and industry information. A Premium Subscription unlocks almost 300 additional pieces of premium training content including two years of NADA/ATD Convention Workshops and as well as interactive and discovery-based online courses.

What are the different types of content in the system?
NADA University Online provides NADA Convention Workshops (WKS), Interactive Online Courses (IOC), Webinars (WEB) and Driven Management Guides (DMG).

What is included in the HR Essentials package?
HR Essentials includes job description samples, fast-answers to pressing HR questions, HR policy handbooks and performance evaluations. The HR essentials package is included in the Premium Subscription or can be purchased as an package for $499.

What is the NADA Universal Username and Password?
As of March 1, 2015, your Universal NADA Username and Password should be used to access NADA University Online training and resources as well as all NADA/ATD member content and benefits on www.nada.org. Retrieve/reset your password here.

Where do I find my Driven Management Guides?
Driven Management Guides are accessible from the Training Catalog. You can also find all Driven Management Guides under the Browse Categories section in the search tool located on the right column of your Learning Dashboard.

What does the 2-3 letter code at the end of each content title stand for?
• (DMG) - Driven Management Guide
• (WEB) - On-demand Webinar
• (WKS) - NADA/ATD Convention Workshop
• (IOC) - Interactive Online Course
Using these abbreviations may also allow you to easily search by content type in the search option on the personalized Learning Dashboard.

How do I set up my online account?
Please follow instructions available here or call 800.557.6232 to set up your account.

How do I retrieve/reset my Universal Username and Password?
Please go to the sign in page here and follow the prompts or call 800.557.6232 for assistance.

I already have an account. Why might I be having trouble signing into my account?
As of March 1, 2015, in order to access your NADA University Online account you must complete a one-time NADA Universal Username and Password reset. If you’ve retrieved your Universal Username and Password and are still having issues signing into NADA University Online please contact NADA at 800.557.6232 or nadauniversity@nada.org.

What is the easiest way to set up usernames, passwords, and access levels for all my employees?
The easiest way to set up all employees is to complete this Employee Template Worksheet and send it to NADA’s Customer Service team at nadauniversity@nada.org. You will be notified by NADA when the upload is complete and access will be immediate for all employees.

Can NADA set up my account for me?
Yes, our team would be happy to assist you. You may call our team directly at 800.557.6232 or email us at nadauniversity@nada.org.

Is NADA University Online content accessible through mobile and tablet devices?
Yes, all NADA University Online content is compatible with the major mobile devices including Android phones and tablets, and Apple iPhone and iPad devices.

How do I add a new employee into the system to complete training?
Training Administrators can manage their company's roster through logging into www.nada.org. An authorized user can do this after logging in, selecting the My NADA button at the top right and selecting "Edit profile". Once on the profile screen, the authorized user can edit the company roster, which includes the ability to add a new account. Upon login, the new employee will be enrolled into training based on their training level.

How do I remove employee access to training?
Authorized users can manage their company’s roster through logging into www.nada.org. An authorized user can do this after logging in, selecting the My NADA button at the top right, and then selecting “Edit profile”. Once on the profile screen, edit the company roster tab, which includes the ability to remove employees from the dealership’s roster. Once an employee has been removed, they will no longer have access to training content. Please review the Training Administrator's Guide.

How do I become an authorized user?
Your Dealer Principal or an NADA Authorized Representative are already designated as authorized users. Human resource managers, training managers, or general managers may be set up as authorized users by contacting NADA at 800.557.6232 or emailing nadauniversity@nada.org.

What is My Transcript?
My Transcript includes a repository of all training attempted and completed with scoring notifications.

What is the Training Catalog?
You can use the Training Catalog to search and enroll in Interactive Online Courses, NADA/ATD Convention Workshops, On-demand Webinars and Driven Management Guides.

What is the Learning Dashboard?
The Learning Dashboard is the webpage a user is directed to after entering their username and password. The personalized dashboard gives you the ability to manage and direct learning that builds competencies and skills in specific disciplines.

Where can I find a complete list of training content?
Please download the current Training Catalog (PDF).

How do I view standard and custom reports?
If you are designated as an Organizational Manager for your account you can manage and run standard reports from the Reports Console (navigate from the home Learning Dashboard to Administration > Reports Console > Training Progress). The standard report displays a progress status that specifies when each employee has enrolled, started and/or completed training. Please view the Training Administrator's Guide to running reports. If you need assistance with custom report options please contact the NADA University Online Customer Service team at 800.557.6232 or nadauniversity@nada.org.

How do I search for a specific course, workshop, webinar, or publication?
You may search for specific content in the Training Catalog or by using the search tool located on the right column of the home Learning Dashboard.

How much does a Premium Subscription cost?
Pricing starts at $199/month and includes unlimited access for all employees at the dealership.

How do I confirm/update my payment information?
The easiest way to ensure your payment information is current and avoid any disruption to your subscription is to contact NADA’s Customer Service at 800.557.6232.

How will I be notified when payments are processed?
You will receive an email from Paypal when your payment has been processed.

With the new site enhancements, will the cost of my dealership’s Premium Subscription change?
No, the cost is the same.
