Survivors Relief Fund

Responding to the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the Foundation, working with the National Automobile Dealers Association, created a fund to assist the families of victims. Once the Foundation helped meet the immediate needs with grants of nearly $700,000, the balance of over $1 million was used to establish the NADA Foundation Survivors Relief Fund under the auspices of Scholarship America to help meet the long-term educational needs of the victims’ dependents, be it to attend a college or a technical, vocational or professional school in the United States.

To date, the Fund has provided $780,200 in scholarship aid to 139 students.
