- Q. I need help finding a new bank for floorplanning. Do you have a list of lenders for floorplan?
A. NADA does not have a resource that lists all lenders, nor do we know of a list that is publicly available. Our suggestion is to call each and every bank that you can find. We would also suggest that you include in your search other finance sources as well, including credit unions, captive finance companies, and independent finance companies. Keep in mind that, since many floorplan lenders have recently exited the business, you should be prepared to conduct a lot of research. Finally, you should also consider, if possible, going back to your current floorplanning source with an open mind (and even a plan) on how to make yourself a more attractive floorplan customer -- for example, by having a specific program to get rid of aged inventory.
