In response to numerous requests from dealers, general managers, and graduates of NADA’s Dealer Academy, efforts began in 2005 to determine the need for and feasibility of an advanced dealer education program focusing on management and leadership.

The result is the new Dealer Executive Education at Babson College program that will focus on leadership, management and entrepreneurship and will be taught by faculty of Babson College’s outstanding business school.

What You Can Expect

Through intensive use of case studies, projects, and real-life examples, you will learn to optimize success “within the four walls” of your dealership, make sense of the “macro” changes you are seeing, and instill the entrepreneurial mindset important to future success. You'll gain new perspectives and develop tangible action plans for leading and managing your dealership.

Your Curriculum

This customized executive education program takes an interactive approach, offering real-life case studies, team exercises, a high degree of student participation, and tools to help participants tackle executive leadership responsibilities. Management expertise is achieved to maintain short-term control while driving long-term success.

Who's Right for the Program

Designed for executives in the retail automotive industry, the program is designed for mid- to senior-level managers who are looking to make themselves the very best leaders, managers and entrepreneurs possible.

Program Schedule, Location, Space Available, and Fees

This program consists of six one-week sessions, spaced approximately three months apart, with each being held on the campus of the Executive Education Center at Babson College in Wellesley, Mass. There will be a moderate amount of inter-module assignments (homework), as well.

Each class is limited to 35 participants, with the next available class beginning on January 11, 2009. Spaces are filling up fast, so apply as soon as possible.

How to Apply

Completed applications should be submitted as early as possible to ensure a place in the program.

The NADA Executive Education program carefully monitors the balance of experience in each cohort. By doing so, we lay the foundation for a strong peer learning environment. Applications are subject to acceptance by the NADA Executive Education program. The program seeks talented and experienced executive level applicants from diverse backgrounds who are in a position to effect change within the dealership.
