NADA has its own training program for future dealers and managers to ensure a smooth-running profitable dealership through leadership transitions. 

Course Offerings

 

The Dealer Candidate AcademyTM for dealer successors:

  • Six weeks of classroom instruction
  • 45 weeks of in-dealership training in departmental operations 

General Dealership Management Program for general managers:

  • Six weeks of classroom instruction
  • 45 weeks of in-dealership training in departmental operations

Department Managers Program for Department Managers:

  • Managers invited to participate in General Dealership Management Program module pertaining to their area of expertise

Dealer Retreat for all academy graduates:

  • Five-day comprehensive review of dealership needs
  • Analyze strengths and weaknesses of dealerships from a distance with facilitators and peers

Official Auction Instruction Program - three-day course covers:

  • Evaluating used-car profit opportunities
  • Value of services auction benefits
  • Principles of appraising
  • Bidding techniques
