Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NADA Used Car Guide
Michael J. Stanton, Jr., vice president and chief operating officer of NADA Used Car Guide, oversees all business operations of the company. Stanton began his career with NADA in 2000 as the national sales manager of the NADA Official Used Car Guide Company. He then joined the industry relations department in 2002 as an associate director and was promoted to director in 2004, where he presented dealer interests to manufacturer representatives in policy and operational areas. Stanton returned to NADA Used Car Guide in October 2006.
Stanton’s automotive industry experience spans more than 15 years. Prior to joining NADA, Stanton worked for two automotive manufacturers in sales, marketing, business management and distribution roles. During his time with the manufacturers, Stanton worked closely with dealers to help improve their sales, service and parts operations.
Stanton has a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University and a MBA from Virginia Tech with a concentration in information technology. He resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife Kelly and their 3 children.
