NADA Executive Biography
Stephen R. Pitt is Vice President of the National Automobile Dealers Association's Conventions and Expositions Group. He directs the planning, staging and execution of NADA's annual convention and exposition, and that of the association's American Truck Dealers Division. The group coordinates more than 400 meetings and seminars annually.
Prior to his current position, Pitt was manager and later director and executive director of the association's Conventions and Expositions Department.
Before joining NADA, Pitt held a management position with ITT Sheraton Corp.
Pitt attended Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y.
The National Automobile Dealers Association, founded in 1917 and based in McLean, Va., represents more than 20,000 new car and truck dealers, holding over 43,000 separate franchises, both domestic and import.
