NADA Executive Biography
Joseph L. Cowden serves as NADA's Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Cowden oversees key business units including Used Car Guide Company, NADA Retirement Administrators Inc (NADART) and Convention, as well as internal support functions that include Accounting & Finance, Real Estate, Information Technology and Human Resources.
Immediately prior to joining NADA in 2002, Mr. Cowden was a consulting CFO in the Washington, D.C. area. He was previously the Controller of the American Automobile Manufacturers Association and worked in corporate finance/accounting for Towers Watson. Mr. Cowden is a CPA and began his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Cowden holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park.
