NADA Executive Biography
Robert J. Peden is executive director of the National Automobile Dealers Association Retirement Administrators, Inc. DBA NADART, where he is responsible for the Plan Accounting, Trust Accounting and Information Technology groups. In that capacity, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the 2,300 dealer sponsored pension, profit-sharing and 401(k) plans under NADART’s administration.
Before joining NADART, Mr. Peden was a supervisor with Coopers and Lybrand and then a senior systems accountant with the Economic Development Administration.
Mr. Peden earned a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Maryland in College Park, Md., and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner.
The National Automobile Dealers Association, founded in 1917 and based in McLean, Va., represents more than 20,000 new car and truck dealers, holding over 43,000 separate franchises, both domestic and import.
