Richard Stephens, vice president and general manager of Stephens Auto Center, Danville, W.Va., represents that state’s franchised new-car dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association’s board of directors.
An automobile dealer since 1992, Stephens previously has served as president and board member of the West Virginia Automobile and Truck Dealers Association. He also serves on the board of the Mid-Atlantic Dodge Dealers Advertising Association and Mid-Atlantic Chrysler-Jeep Dealers Advertising Association.
Active in his community, Stephens is a member of the Madison Rotary Club and serves on the board of the Boone County Community Foundation and the Good News Mountaineer Garage. He has also served for the past two years as president of the Boone County chapter of West Virginia University alumni.
Stephens currently lives in Charleston, W.Va., with his wife Melissa. He has two children.
