Joseph Hanley, Jr., president of Orchid Isle Auto Center, Hilo, Hawaii, represents that state’s franchised new-car dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association's board of directors.
A member of NADA since 1969, Hanley served as director of the Hawaii Automobile Dealers Association (HADA) in 2002 and as president in 2003 and 2004.
Active in his community, Hanley was director of the Hawaii Island Chamber from 2005 through 2006, and was also a community service director for the Rotary Club of Hilo in 1990.
Hanley attended the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy in McLean, Va.
He resides in Hilo, Hawaii with his wife Diana. They have three children.
