Richard S. Gregg
Richard S. Gregg, president of Gregg Motor Sales, Inc., Joliet, Ill., represents that state’s franchised new-car dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association’s board of directors.
Gregg became a franchised dealer in 1950. He is currently a member of NADA’s Membership committee and DEAC chairman for the state of Illinois. Gregg is also a director of the Chicago L-M Advisory Association. Previously, Gregg was president of the Chicago L-M Dealers Association and the Joliet New Car Dealers Association, and chairman of the Illinois Automobile Dealers Association.
Active in his community, Gregg served as president for both the Joliet Rotary Club in 1993 and the Crisis Line of Will County in 1990. He was also chairman of the Joliet Regulatory Chamber of Commerce in 1994.
Gregg received a BA at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill.
He resides in Joliet, Ill., with his wife Lisa. They have four children.
Gregg’s hobbies include golf, reading, camping, fishing and boating.
The National Automobile Dealers Association, founded in 1917 and based in McLean, Va., represents more than 20,000 franchised new car and truck dealers holding nearly 43,000 separate franchises, domestic and international.
