William C. Fox, of the Fox Dealerships, Auburn, Phoenix and Painted Post, New York, represents that state’s franchised new-car dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association’s board of directors.
Fox, an automobile dealer since 1980 and member of NADA since 1980, currently serves as chairman of the Policy and Bylaws committee, and is a member of the Regulatory Affairs committee. He is also director of the New York State Automobile Dealers Association.
Active in his community, Fox was director of the Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce from 1996 through 1999.
Fox received a BS at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and a JD at St. John’s University in New York.
The National Automobile Dealers Association, founded in 1917 and based in McLean, Va., represents more than 20,000 franchised new car and truck dealers holding nearly 43,000 separate franchises, domestic and international.
