David K. Williams Jr., president of Anchor Buick GMC, Inc., in Elkton, Md., represents that state’s franchised new-car dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association’s board of directors.
Williams began his career in the automobile industry in 1978, working in his family’s dealership. Active within the industry, he previously served as chairman of the Maryland Automobile Dealers Association.
Active in his community, Williams was chairman of Peoples Bank of Elkton (Md.) in 2003 and has served as a director of The Columbia Bank. He is the founder of Tall Oaks Classical School, established in 1998, and serves as chairman of the board.
