Ramsey T. “Bub” Way, president of Way Brothers Inc., in Hawkinsville, Ga., represents the state’s franchised dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association’s board of directors.
Way grew up in the automotive business and became dealer principal of Way Brothers in 1967, selling Chevrolet, Buick, Pontiac, GMC, and Ford vehicles.
An active member of numerous industry organizations, Way is a member of the Georgia Automobile Dealers Association and the Georgia Dealers Insurance Company. He is a director of the GADA and serves on the GADA Trustee Workers Compensation Board.
Active in civic affairs, Way is a member of the Rotary club and served as president of the Pulaski Historical Society from 1975 to 1990. He is a trustee of the Taylor Regional Hospital Board in Hawkinsville.
In 2000, Way was selected as TIME Magazine’s Quality Dealer of the Year, sponsored by TIME, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. and NADA to honor professional excellence and community leadership. He was named Citizen of the Year by the Hawkinsville Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club in 1982.
