Wade Walker, president of Walker Motors Inc. in Montpelier, Vt., represents that state’s franchised new-car dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association's board of directors.
An automobile dealer and a member of NADA since 1953, Walker serves as treasurer of the Vermont Automobile Dealers Association (VADA) and is a past county director of the association. He serves on the VADA Environmental, Executive, Finance, Legislative, and Convention committees and is a member of the State of Vermont Arbitration Board. Walker is a past member of the AutoCap panel and Governor’s Blue Ribbon Task Force on Hazardous Waste.
Involved in numerous civic organizations, Walker is a member of the board of directors and volunteer counselor for Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, a camp for children with cancer. He is also a member of the Montpelier Rotary Club, where he was honored as Rotarian of the Year in 1995.
