Greg Taylor, president of Taylor-Parker Motor Co., Sandpoint, Idaho, represents that state's franchised new-car dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association's board of directors.

An automobile dealer and a member of NADA since 1984, Taylor began working in the automotive industry in 1970. His first job was with GMAC in Spokane, Wash. In 1983, he became a partner at a General Motors dealership in Coquille, Ore., and in 1984, he opened a Subaru dealership in Coos Bay, Ore. In 1988, Taylor purchased his present dealership in Sandpoint.

Taylor is currently on NADA’s Convention and Regulatory Affairs committees. He is also director of Pacific Northwest CJ, an advertising association, and currently serves as a director of the Bonner County Economic Development Corporation (BCEDC). Previously, Taylor was director of the Idaho Automobile Dealers Association for several years.

The National Automobile Dealers Association, founded in 1917 and based in McLean, VA, represents more than 20,000 new car and truck dealers, holding over 43,000 separate franchises, both domestic and import.
