Secretary
David B. Penske, President of David Penske Chevrolet, Inc., King of Prussia, Pa., represents Eastern Pennsylvania’s franchised new-car dealers on the association’s board of directors.
A new car dealer and a member of NADA since 1971, Penske currently serves as the board of directors’ secretary. He is also director of the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia, vice president and director of the Pennsylvania Automotive Association. Previously, he served as president of the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia from 1980 through 1981, and 1995 through 1996. Penske also served as president of the Chevrolet National Dealer Council in 1987.
Penske attended Miami University and graduated in 1965 with a BS in Business. He resides in Wayne, Pennsylvania where he is married with three children, including one whom is currently employed at his dealership.
The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), founded in 1917 and based in McLean, Va., represents about 19,700 new car and truck dealers holding more than 40,000 separate franchises, both domestic and international.
