Richard L. Morrison, president of The Morrison Auto Group, which includes Eero Volkswagen of Anchorage Inc. and Saturn of Anchorage, represents Alaska's franchised new-car dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association's board of directors.
An automobile dealer and a member of NADA since 1985, Morrison currently serves on the association’s ATAE/NADA and Nominating committees and as the Porsche/Audi Chairman on the Industry Relations committee. He is also a board member of the Alaska Automobile Dealers Association (AADA) and serves as a state legislative director for the American International Automobile Dealers Association. Previously, Morrison was chairman of NADA’s Government Relations and Information Technology committees and served on the Dealers Election Action Committee. He is past president of the AADA.
Active in his community, Morrison has received awards from the Better Business Bureau, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Kiwanis Club, Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club from the Mayors Office of Anchorage and Governors Office of Alaska.
The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), founded in 1917 and based in McLean, Va., represents about 19,700 new car and truck dealers holding more than 40,000 separate franchises, both domestic and international.
