James R. Marsh, president of Jim Marsh Automotive in Las Vegas, Nev., represents that state’s franchised new-vehicle dealers on the National Automobile Dealers board of directors.
Marsh began his career in the automotive business in 1965, when he opened Jim Marsh Pontiac in Longview, Wash. He has been an NADA member since 1966 and has held numerous industry positions, including president of the Las Vegas New Car Dealers Association and director of the Nevada New Car Dealers Association.
Active in his community, Marsh is a past president and 15-year member of the board of directors for the Better Business Bureau, an 18-year member of the board of directors for the Nevada chapter of the American Red Cross, and a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1955.
Marsh is a recipient of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce’s “Quality Circle” award and the Clark County (Nev.) Republican Party’s “Republican of the Year” award. He lives in Las Vegas.
