Jack Kain, owner of Jack Kain Ford, Versailles, Ky., and Kain Family Ford, Lincoln-Mercury, London, Ky., is the 2005 chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association and represents Kentucky’s franchised new-car dealers on the association’s board of directors.
A new-car dealer and a member of NADA since 1952, Kain served as NADA's 2005 chairman and is past president of the Kentucky Automobile Dealers Association. Kain is a 10-time winner of Ford Motor Co.'s Chairman’s Award.
Active in his community, Kain serves on the board of directors of St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, and is a director of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. Kain is past chairman of the American Heart Association and the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce. He is a past director of the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce. He was the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce’s Businessman of the Year in 1992.
Kain earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky, Lexington.
