Andrew "Jack" Caldwell Jr., president of Caldwell Toyota, Conway, Ark., represents that state's franchised new-car dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association’s board of directors. He is a member of the NADA Executive Committee as Region II vice-chairman.

A new-car dealer since 1974, Caldwell currently serves on the association’s ATAE/NADA and Public Affairs committees. He also serves on the NADA-24 Ad Hoc Committee and Nominating Committee. Previously, he was a member of NADA’s Government Relations and Policy and Bylaws committees and was a trustee of the Central Arkansas Auto Dealers Selective Self Insurance Fund. Caldwell is a past chairman, past vice chairman and past treasurer of the Arkansas Automobile Dealers Association. He is the past president of the Pulaski County Automobile Dealers and a past director of the Reserve Capital Corporation. Caldwell is also a past member of the Pontiac National Dealer Council.

Caldwell is active in many civic organizations and is a past president of the Hope Lions Club, Hope Chamber of Commerce and Hempstead County Industrial Association.

Caldwell has served for nine years on the Arkansas Motor Vehicle Commission where he is a past chairman.

The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), founded in 1917 and based in McLean, Va., represents about 19,700 new car and truck dealers holding more than 40,000 separate franchises, both domestic and international.
