Board of Directors — South Carolina
William H. Bradshaw, president of Bradshaw Automotive Group, Greer, S.C., is immediate past chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association and represents that South Carolina’s franchised new-car dealers on the association’s board of directors.
An automobile dealer and a member of NADA since 1979, Bradshaw is currently on the South Carolina Dealers Association board of directors. He also operates franchises for Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, Saturn, Honda, Acura, Infiniti and most recently Hummer. Bradshaw has been a member of various Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Honda, Acura and Saturn dealer councils and committees. He is a past president of the Greer Dealers Association and the Greenville Dealers Motor Mile Association.
Active in his community, Bradshaw is a strong supporter of Greenville Technical College. After serving on the college’s Foundation Board as chairman of the Finance Committee, Bradshaw was elected as president of the Greenville Technical College Foundation. He has served on the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce board of directors, the Greenville County Business Education Partnership, and is a sponsor of the Greenville Children’s Hospital and A Child’s Haven. Both Bradshaw and his wife are very active in, and support Imagine Nation, the S.C. Children’s Museum.
In 1997, Bradshaw was named the South Carolina Dealer of the Year and received the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award. For his community involvement, Bradshaw received the Red Cross Award of Appreciation, the United Way Chairman’s Award and the Award of Excellence and many other prestigious awards.
Bradshaw has been designated as Greer’s Business Person of the year in 2000, he was selected as a Greenville Tech Entrepreneur of the year and currently serves on their Entrepreneur Forum. In 2005, Bradshaw was honored as a Greenville Magazine Business Person of the year.
The National Automobile Dealers Association, founded in 1917 and based in McLean, Va., represents more than 20,000 new car and truck dealers, holding over 43,000 separate franchises, both domestic and import.
