Donovan A. Bertsch, president of Theel Inc., Bottineau, N.D., represents North Dakota’s franchised new-car dealers on the National Automobile Dealers Association’s board of directors.
A new-car dealer and member of NADA since 1984, Bertsch is also director of the Automobile Dealers Association of North Dakota and is a President’s Club member of NADA’s DEAC. Previously, Bertsch was president of the Automobile Dealers Association of North Dakota.
Active in his community, Bertsch currently serves on the North Dakota Council for Vocational Education and the Governor’s Job Training and Education Forum. He was president of Metigoshe Ministries Bible Camp from 1996 to 2002 and chairman of the Minot State University-Bottineau Development Foundation from 1996 to 1998.
Bertsch received the TIME Magazine Quality Dealer Award from NADA and TIME Magazine in 2005 and the Bottineau Jaycees’ Outstanding Community Leader Award in 1990. He is also the recipient of the North Dakota State University-Bottineau Young Alumni Award and the Bottineau Chamber of Commerce’s Distinguished Service Award.
