Who Can Join
NADA membership is open to any individual, firm, corporation, or entity engaged in the business of new motor vehicle retailing and operating at an established place of business within the United States under an authorized franchise currently in force with a manufacturer or distributor of the vehicle. Member services are provided to the dealership and are delivered in the name of the dealership’s authorized representative, usually the dealer principal or the dealer-operator/general manager.
Opportunities For Non-Dealers
Non-dealers are not eligible for membership in NADA. However, the association provides great opportunities for third-party companies to market their products and services to dealers. These opportunities include advertising in AutoExec magazine and exhibiting at NADA's annual convention and exposition. More information on vendor opportunities is available here.
Annual Dues/Invoices
NADA's annual dues range from $95 to $550, based on the prior-calendar-year new-vehicle sales of the dealership. For organizations owning two or more dealerships, dues for the largest volume outlet are determined by its prior-calendar-year new-vehicle sales volume; each other dealership in the organization that holds membership pays a flat fee.

NADA mails dues invoices a few months prior to the expiration of the term of membership. The invoice includes a request for a voluntary contribution to the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation. In some areas, state, metropolitan or dealer advertising associations collect dues on behalf of NADA.
International Dealer Affiliates
Dealers from all over the world are invited to become NADA International Dealer Affiliates. Affiliates learn what's going on in the U.S. retail automotive market and save money on NADA meetings, publications, and consulting services. Affiliates receive all mailings sent to NADA members, including AutoExec magazine, NADA Today, and the N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide®. Affiliates also may participate in NADA conventions, meetings, and consulting services.
