New Workshops at NADA Convention Offer Timely Focus on Internet Marketing and More

More than 100 workshop sessions covering 35 topics will help dealers get the most out of their businesses

WASHINGTON (Sept. 10, 2010) -- A new “Online Presence” workshop is one of 10 study tracks that will be offered to dealers and their managers at the 2011 NADA Convention & Expo in San Francisco this February.

It features nine workshops that will teach attendees how to improve their dealership’s Internet presence through Web marketing efforts that turn online visitors into customers, increasing search engine optimization and using video and social media.

There’s a strong lineup of top speakers from Google, DrivingSales, J.D. Power, AutoTrader.com and ActivEngage. They will discuss how to improve the online lead mix, Web analytics to maximize closing rates, content marketing through blogs and microsites, consumer engagement with video, and utilizing social media to manage the dealership’s reputation and generate and track return-on-investment.

“The new workshop programs offered at the NADA convention provide a timely focus on Internet marketing,” says John Lyboldt, NADA vice president of Dealer Operations.

The other study tracks are Dealer/Executive, Business Office, Management, Sales/Leasing/Finance, Legal/Regulatory, Parts, Service, Accessories and Human Resources.

“As part of the Dealer/Executive track, we’re offering—for the first time—the workshop on ‘Legendary Service at The Ritz-Carlton,’” Lyboldt says. “The Ritz-Carlton is recognized as the gold standard in customer service.”

As a special addition to the workshop programs, dealers and their managers will learn more about the many features and benefits that NADA University provides exclusively to NADA and ATD members.

Workshop sessions begin Friday, Feb. 4 at 1:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. at the Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco. Click here for more information on the NADA convention.
