Groundbreaking Education and Training Resource Features 'Resource Toolbox' Among Four 'Automotive Centers of Excellence' Designed to Drive Dealer, Industry Performance and Profitability
McLEAN, Va. (Feb. 9, 2010) – NADA University, a new online education and training resource for auto dealers set to launch this week at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) annual Convention, in Orlando, Fla., February 13-15, will showcase a series of “10-minute workshops,” panel discussions, and book and CD signings at its Studio Booth in the West C Lobby of the Orange County Convention Center.
These sessions will feature top industry trainers, who will provide a snapshot of the detailed expertise and insights they will offer as NADA University Preferred Partners to help auto dealers, manufacturers and others in the industry improve business performance and build profitability. (See following schedule of sessions.)
“NADA University is the most convenient and complete online training and education resource available in the auto industry today,” said Bill Underriner, NADA Dealer Operations Committee chairman. “We encourage dealers, OEMs and anyone looking to build profitability to stop by the NADA University Studio and exhibit booth to see how this new resource can be a ‘game-changer,’ especially in a volatile market.”
Visitors to the NADA University Studio booth (West C Lobby) and exhibit booth (#1801) will learn how its four “automotive centers of excellence” fit together to provide a complete, “real world” training and education experience.
Among the “centers” is an information-packed Resource Toolbox, providing an online and on-demand tool for NADA dealer members with access to the latest information on market trends, legal and regulatory developments, and industry news from Driven dealer management guides and other resources.
The Resource Toolbox also offers MarketINSIGHT monthly webinars with the latest data, analysis and industry-expert panel discussions, as well as breaking news, NADA product support, and other custom services to help drive sales, performance and profits.
Complementing the Resource Toolbox to provide a comprehensive training and education resource are NADA University’s three other “automotive centers of excellence:” NADA/ATD Academy (to build leadership skills); Learning Hub (to train staff in key business functions, tapping the expertise of the Preferred Partners); and 20 Group (to improve business performance with access to 20 Group consultants).
Demos will be available and member access credentials provided onsite at both the NADA University Studio booth and exhibit booth. Dealers will be able to personalize NADA University for their employees by recording their own welcome message or other leadership message – free of charge – while at the NADA University studio booth. It will be hosted on NADA University exclusively for the users from that dealership to see.
