ORLANDO (Feb. 10, 2010) -- At an upcoming automotive roundtable, John McEleney, chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), will highlight five factors that allowed dealers to survive one of the most severe economic downturns over the last 40 years.
"Dealers have proven they can withstand many difficult challenges, says McEleney, a General Motors, Toyota and Hyundai dealer from Iowa, who will deliver a keynote address at the J.D. Power and Associates International Automotive Roundtable in Orlando, Fla. on Feb. 12. "In my lifetime as a dealer and as NADA chairman, I continue to be amazed at the resiliency and tenacity of auto dealers facing unprecedented conditions."
McEleney joins other keynote speakers, Bob Lutz, General Motors Company and Sir Martin Sorrell, chief executive of WPP Group.
The automotive roundtable will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel in conjunction with the NADA Convention & Expo, Feb. 13-15, in Orlando.
The forum will focus on the critical issues and solutions that are impacting current and future automotive operations. Roundtable speakers will provide attendees with insights into emerging automotive trends, a changing marketplace and highlight successes in customer satisfaction.
