Keynote speakers to discuss the future of auto retailing; 100 workshops offered with a focus on managing cash flow, inventory and service productivity; and 19 franchise meetings scheduled
McLEAN, Va. (Jan. 20, 2010) -- Over the past several days, advance registration for the NADA Convention & Expo, Feb. 13-15, has surged. If fact, pre-paid registration is now ahead of last year’s total attendance. So, in order to provide dealers and their managers with more time to sign up and take advantage of the $50 to $75 savings, the advance registration deadline has been extended to Wednesday, Jan. 27. NADA is also providing dealers and their managers with a $200 voucher to spend on goods and services on the expo floor.
“It’s time to focus on the future,” says John McEleney, 2009 NADA chairman. “We’ve put together a strong lineup of expert speakers and practical workshops, including 19 franchise meetings. To date, there are nearly 450 exhibitors. If you have not yet registered, now is the time.”
Industry keynote speakers, who will discuss the future of auto retailing, include NADA’s McEleney and 2010 NADA Chairman Ed Tonkin, Volkswagen’s President and CEO Stefan Jacoby, AutoNation’s Chairman and CEO Mike Jackson and energy activist T. Boone Pickens.
Dealers and their managers can choose from nearly 100 workshops ranging from driving profitability, managing cash flow and improving inventory ROI to increasing service productivity. Four new “Executive Track” workshops, geared to high-level dealership managers, will be offered. Three hours of “bonus” workshops, beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, have also been added, so plan to arrive early.
Be sure to take advantage of this opportunity and find ways to improve your business and prepare for an economic rebound at next month’s convention in Orlando. Take a minute and register at www.nada.org/convention.
