McLean, Va., December 20, 2006 – The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) will offer 48 individual workshops, presented in 156 sessions, covering a wide range of topics at its 2007 Convention & Exposition in Las Vegas, February 3-6.

These sessions will focus on helping new car and light truck dealers enhance their services and profitability in today’s challenging market and for the future.

"The workshop program is always one of the great highlights of the NADA convention," said NADA Chairman William Bradshaw.  "Improving profitability is a must for all dealerships, whether times are good or bad.  All of these sessions work toward that goal by giving dealers valuable insight into their business operations and performance that can improve their bottom line.”

Among the new workshops offered is a “Lifeline to Profit$” three-part series focused on cash management, variable operations and fixed operations.

The full workshop program includes sessions on such topics as, regulatory responsibilities, F&I practices, service menus, closing skills, succession planning, dealer valuation, hiring and retention, effective use of customer data, consumer behavior trends, union organizing and more.

In addition, the popular workshops highlighting the best 20 Group ideas and legal compliance are featured on the schedule.

Twenty-one select workshops will be videotaped and sold on DVD. All workshops will be audiorecorded for sale on CD in Windows Media, MP3 and iPOD audiobook formats.
