McLean, Va., March 14, 2005 — The deadline is April 26, 2005 to submit a proposal to present a workshop at the National Automobile Dealers Association’s (NADA) 2006 Convention & Exposition, in Orlando, February 11-14, 2006.
The workshop program consists of concurrent educational sessions for new car and light truck dealers and managers covering a broad range of topics designed to provide the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary for success in a highly competitive business environment.
"The workshops offer dealers one-stop shopping for expertise on all aspects of the auto retailing business to enhance their customer service, profitability and overall operations," said Carl Ragsdale, NADA’s chief operating officer of dealer services. "As the Workshop Review Board takes a look at the workshop proposals for next year’s convention, the value and new content they offer to dealers will be the major emphasis."
The workshop topics will be divided into tracks including: strategic business management and succession planning; business development; vehicle sales, performance and profitability; fixed operations; human resource management and development; and technology.
